Although it is a more common disease in those who are already hospitalized, such as those in intensive care, it is usually secondary to complicated surgeries, generalized infections or as a result of serious injury or when the blood flow from the kidneys is interrupted, however, this may be reversible because the severity is often variable and treatment may be required for a time.

However, a decrease in the filtrate can also be generated by lowering the filtration pressure due to a decrease in blood pressure or a significant hypovolemia, another cause of this disease is the one that occurs when there is an obstructive condition that does not allow elimination of the filtrate as when there is prostatic obstruction or urethral compression by masses or ganglia.

There are also other factors that predispose the onset of this disease: advanced age, chronic infection, diabetes, hypertension, immunological disorders, renal and hepatic base problems, prostatic hypertrophy and bladder obstruction. During a BBQ, a woman stumbled and took a little fall – she assured everyone that she was fine and she said she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared a bit shaken up, Jane went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening.

Jane’s husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital – (at 6:00 PM Jane passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ.
